About ChiVer
Built on the belief that every person deserves to live fully
ChiVer Independent Living was founded to close the gap between disability services and the people who need them most — providing real, consistent support that makes independent living possible.
Our mission
We exist to empower adults with disabilities in Arizona to live with dignity, autonomy, and connection. Through personalized support, benefits navigation, and community integration, we help individuals build the lives they choose — not the lives others choose for them.
Dignity first
Every person we serve is treated as a capable, whole individual — never defined by their disability.
Consistency
We show up. Reliable support is the foundation of trust, and trust is the foundation of independence.
Advocacy
We speak up for our clients within systems that can be complex and overwhelming — ensuring they receive what they're entitled to.
Community
Independence isn't isolation. We connect people to their communities and to each other.
Our story
ChiVer Independent Living grew out of a simple observation: too many adults with disabilities in Arizona were falling through the cracks — not because services didn't exist, but because navigating them was nearly impossible without dedicated support.
We built ChiVer to be that support. A team that knows the systems, knows the community, and knows how to walk alongside individuals and families through every step of the process — from first contact to long-term stability.
Community partnerships
We work hand-in-hand with the organizations and professionals who are already in clients' lives.
Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES)
Coordinating benefits, referrals, and service plans for shared clients.
Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
Collaborating on support plans for adults with developmental disabilities.
Social workers & case managers
Serving as a trusted referral partner for professionals across Arizona's social services network.
Nonprofit community organizations
Connecting clients to local resources, peer networks, and community programs.
